Burna Boy Gifts Portable N20 Million After Victory Over Speed Darlington in Boxing Match.
Grammy Award-winning artist Burna Boy has gifted street-pop sensation Portable a whopping N20 million following his win against Speed Darlington in a much-anticipated celebrity boxing match.
According to Kogi News Tribune, Portable emerged victorious in the “Chaos in the Rings” bout after Speed Darlington was forced to withdraw before the second round due to a broken arm sustained in the first.
In celebration of Portable’s triumph—and perhaps as a subtle jab at longtime rival Speed Darlington—Burna Boy rewarded the singer with the generous cash gift.
Portable took to his Instagram story on Saturday to share the news, writing:
“20 million from @burnaboygram.
If you wanna be like Odogwu, can you do like Odogwu?
God bless your family.”
Earlier, the Zazuu crooner had also defeated Nollywood actor and content creator Charles Okocha, popularly known as Igwe Tupac.
