Flykite Productions, organisers of GOtv Boxing Night, have guaranteed fans top-level security for the 33rd edition of the event, which takes place this Saturday at the Molade Okoya-Thomas Indoor Sports Hall, Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
Speaking ahead of the highly anticipated fight night, Bamidele Johnson, Chief Operating Officer of Flykite Productions, said comprehensive arrangements have been made to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
“All necessary measures have been taken to guarantee the safety of fans, boxers, and officials. We are committed to delivering not only thrilling fights but also a secure environment,” Johnson said.
The main event of the evening features teenage boxing sensation Raheem ‘Badoo’ Animashaun in a headline clash against Jean Coffi from the Benin Republic. Also on the international card, Ghana’s Emmanuel Otoo will face Nigeria’s Tosin ‘Sojar Boy’ Osaigbovo in a much-anticipated lightweight showdown.
The night will also see William ‘Kaki’ Amosu go head-to-head with Emmanuel ‘Ability Famous’ Abimbola, while Sikiru ‘Omo Iya Eleja’ Shogbesan battles Segun Gbobaniyi in a fiery lightweight contest.
Other exciting matchups include a national super bantamweight bout between Durotimi Agboola and Sodiq ‘Happy Boy’ Adeleke, as well as a light welterweight clash featuring Tobiloba ‘Silent Assassin’ Ijomoni against Azeez ‘Latest’ Ayobami.
