Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has revealed her openness to getting married again, stating that while she desires companionship, it is not something she considers a necessity.
The 58-year-old actress shared her thoughts during a recent interview with BBC Yoruba, where she discussed her personal life and hopes for the future.
“On the issue of marriage, I wish to be married again if it is God’s will,” she said. “But it is not something I consider compulsory. When I visited Al Kaaba, I prayed to God about it, and I believe He answers prayers.”
Wright, a single mother of two, rose to prominence in 1999 with her role in the acclaimed Yoruba political drama Saworoide. Over the years, she has become a respected figure in the Nigerian film industry, with numerous credits in both English and Yoruba-language films.
While she remains focused on her family and career, the actress’s candid remarks have sparked conversation among fans and followers about love, faith, and second chances.
