The announcement was made on Monday during the council meeting held at the Government House in Minna.
Governor Bago, while addressing the outgoing cabinet, expressed gratitude for their service and contributions to the development of the state. He directed the commissioners to immediately hand over the affairs of their respective ministries to the permanent secretaries in charge.
However, the governor clarified that the dissolution does not extend to all political appointees. Key officials including the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), the Chief of Staff, the Deputy Chief of Staff, and other principal aides within his office will retain their positions.
The decision marks a significant shake-up in the administration as the governor seeks to reposition his government for the next phase of governance.
