Adejobi, who until recently served as the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), was decorated with his new rank following the approval of the Police Service Commission. His new posting places him at the helm of one of the country’s most operationally sensitive state commands.
According to Force Headquarters, the deployment is part of routine administrative procedures aimed at strengthening leadership across strategic formations.
“DCP Adejobi’s track record of professionalism, operational competence, and community engagement made him a natural choice for this vital role,” a senior police officer explained.
In his new capacity, Adejobi will be responsible for overseeing security operations, coordinating tactical responses to violent crimes, and enhancing police-community relations throughout Delta State.
The Force also emphasized that Adejobi’s posting reflects its commitment to merit-driven career progression and effective deployment of officers to key areas of national security.
