The Supreme Court has directed the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to suspend the disbursement of funds to the Rivers State government until a properly constituted House of Assembly is in place.
Additionally, the court ordered Martin Amaewhule to convene proceedings immediately with all duly elected members.
It is worth noting that five appeals related to the State Assembly dispute are currently before the apex court.
