Protocol Department
To enhance the execution of official functions and uphold high standards of protocol, the Governor approved the following appointments:
- Uche Mark Nwosu – Chief Protocol Officer
- Ikechukwu Nwankwo – Deputy Chief Protocol Officer
- Adaeze Ivy Iroegbu – Chief Moderator
- Emmanuel Paul Irechi – Protocol Officer
- Amarachi Inyama – Protocol Officer
- Augustine Chukwuebuka – Protocol Officer
These appointees are expected to professionalize the state’s protocol activities and project a more orderly and reputable image for government events.
Abia State College of Education (Technical), Arochukwu
In a bid to reposition tertiary education in the state, Governor Otti approved the appointments of:
- Dr. Joe Emeson – Chairman, Governing Council
- Dr. (Mrs.) Idowu O. Eluwa – Provost
Abuja Liaison Office
To strengthen Abia’s coordination at the federal level, Iheanyi Frank Chinasa has been appointed Chief Liaison Officer/National Assembly Liaison Officer.
Abia State Transport Corporation Board
A new board has also been constituted to revamp the state’s transport services. Members include:
