Tejere Thomas Jolomi Applauds President Tinubu’s Comprehensive Reforms
In an exclusive interview with Theresa Edom of the Progressive Digital Youth Forum, renowned political analyst and social commentator Tejere Thomas Jolomi commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as “leadership that delivers results on all fronts.”
“President Tinubu has proven himself beyond question,” Jolomi asserted. “His governance demonstrates that true leadership lies in harnessing national potential and enacting policies rooted in citizens’ welfare. The sweeping reforms across sectors of the economy are clear evidence of this commitment.”
Economic Resurgence and Reforms
Jolomi noted that the Tinubu administration’s strategies have eased economic pressures while building a strong foundation for growth. “The results are visible,” he said. “The naira has stabilized, the stock market has hit new records, coal mining has been revitalized, and non-oil exports now account for 48% of total exports. As of September, Nigeria’s external reserves reached $42.03 billion, while N330 billion has been disbursed to support eight million households through the Social Investment Program.”
He described these developments as part of the administration’s long-term framework to secure economic resilience and broaden prosperity for all Nigerians.
Security and National Stability
Turning to national security, Jolomi lauded the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) for its proactive measures in addressing insecurity. He credited NSA Mallam Nuhu Ribadu and private sector partners, such as Tantita Security Services, for their roles in strengthening national stability.
“President Tinubu inherited deep security challenges but wasted no time confronting them,” Jolomi said. “From his inaugural address, he made it clear that security would be the cornerstone of his government. Within his first month, he restructured the national security leadership, appointing experienced and visionary professionals who are now producing tangible results.”
He dismissed media distractions, urging Nigerians to focus on the administration’s measurable progress. “Those who live in affected regions can attest to the improvement,” he added.
Partnership and Progress in the Niger Delta
Jolomi particularly praised the contributions of Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo) and Tantita Security Services for their efforts in protecting national assets and restoring peace in the Niger Delta. “Tompolo’s company has shown extraordinary resilience and ingenuity in safeguarding Nigeria’s vital resources,” he said. “The era of militancy is behind us, replaced by a new phase of productivity, peace, and youth employment.”
He noted that Tompolo’s initiatives—ranging from security operations to social investments—reflect the spirit of the Renewed Hope Agenda. “Even his recent donation of a mosque to the Muslim community in Kaduna underscores his commitment to unity and nation-building,” Jolomi remarked.
Renewed Hope and National Confidence
Jolomi concluded by reaffirming his faith in Tinubu’s leadership:
“The president’s Renewed Hope Agenda is more than a slogan—it’s a living framework driving transformation across every sector. From economic stabilization to social cohesion, Nigeria is on the path to sustainable growth.”
He also pointed to the growing influence of the PBAT Door-to-Door campaign, which he described as one of the largest grassroots movements championing President Tinubu’s policies and progress.
