The suspension was announced by the State Publicity Secretary, Mrs. Maria Dogo, in a statement released to journalists in Kaduna on Tuesday.
According to Dogo, the action was taken in line with the provisions of Articles 58(1)(h) and 57(3) of the PDP Constitution (2017 as amended).
She explained that the decision was reached on Monday, October 6, 2025, during a meeting of the State Working Committee (SWC) held at the party’s secretariat in Kaduna.
“The suspension, which takes immediate effect, will last for one month pending the outcome of investigations and subsequent decisions of the party,” Dogo said.
She added that during the suspension period, Mr. Adamu would not participate in any party activities at any level.
The party, however, reaffirmed its commitment to internal discipline, fairness, and justice under the leadership of its State Chairman, Mr. Edward Percy Masha.
Dogo further stated that the ongoing efforts of the State Working Committee aim to strengthen the party’s structure and ensure accountability among its members.
