Air Marshal Aneke gave the charge during a high-level strategic meeting held at the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Headquarters in Abuja on Thursday. He emphasized that the evolving security threats confronting the country demand agility, intelligence, and precision in warfare.

“We must fly smarter and strike harder—not only to neutralize threats but to protect the lives and properties of Nigerians. Every mission must reflect professionalism, purpose, and patriotism,” the Air Chief stated.

He explained that the success of ongoing operations depends on seamless coordination between air, land, and maritime components to achieve decisive joint mission outcomes. The Air Chief further urged commanders to sustain operational momentum and ensure every sortie delivers measurable results on the ground.

Aneke also highlighted the importance of technology, innovation, and continuous training to enhance combat readiness and effectiveness. He reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare and capacity development of all Air Force personnel, noting that their morale and professionalism remain essential to operational success.

“We will apply decisive force against those who threaten our nation, but with discipline, humanity, and professionalism. The Nigerian people, the government, and our international partners expect nothing less from us,” he said.

According to NAF, the meeting provided a platform to harmonize strategies, strengthen inter-service cooperation, and ensure that the Air Force remains a decisive pillar of national security and a symbol of hope for citizens.
