In a statement posted on its official X handle on Tuesday, the NYSC stated that the call-up numbers have been released “based on registration order.”
The scheme, however, noted that due to limited camp capacities across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), only about 40 percent of registered prospective corps members will be accommodated in the upcoming orientation exercise.
For those unable to secure placement in Batch C, the NYSC assured them that they would automatically be moved to the next batch.
“Rest assured, those not accommodated will be deferred to the next batch, which will commence soon after the Batch C exercise,” the statement read.
The management further reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a seamless orientation and service year experience for all participants.
“Management remains committed to ensuring a hitch-free orientation exercise and service year experience for all prospective corps members,” the statement added.
Online reports earlier indicated that NYSC opened the 2025 Batch C online registration on November 4, with the exercise scheduled to close on November 9 for both locally and foreign-trained graduates.
According to the mobilisation timetable, the pre-camp physical verification of credentials for foreign-trained graduates will be held from November 9 to 13, while ICT operations are scheduled for November 12 to 15.
Corps-producing institutions are expected to assist with the online printing of deployment and call-up letters between November 16 and 18, during which prospective corps members can also print their call-up letters.
