The summit, scheduled to hold from November 11 to 13, 2025, in Abuja, serves as a major platform to attract investment from Nigerians abroad into key sectors of the nation’s economy.

NiDCOM Chairman and CEO, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, revealed this during a press briefing in Abuja. She noted that the summit, launched in 2018, has continued to grow in impact, linking diaspora investors, entrepreneurs, and policymakers with opportunities in real estate, healthcare, agriculture, ICT, manufacturing, energy, and the creative industries.

According to Dabiri-Erewa, the 2024 edition of the summit generated investment deals worth ₦673 million across various sectors.

“The last edition attracted over 1,500 participants, including 236 investors, 1,197 business owners, and 168 government officials, both online and in person,” she said.

She explained that 56 investment pitches were made during the event, leading to 168 deals valued at ₦673 million.

Speaking further, Dabiri-Erewa confirmed that President Tinubu will once again attend this year’s edition.

“We are honoured that His Excellency, President Bola Tinubu, will serve as the Special Guest of Honour. We expect the participation of prominent business leaders, diaspora investors, and creative industry icons who continue to inspire confidence in Nigeria’s potential,” she added.

The 2025 summit, themed “Fast-Tracking Regional and National Development by Mobilising Diaspora Investment,”will highlight critical growth sectors, including fintech, healthcare, sports, creative industries, and agribusiness.

Dabiri-Erewa also noted that NDIS has injected over ₦500 million into the local economy through services provided by small businesses and creatives during past editions.

Registration for the 2025 event is ongoing via www.ndisng.com.
